Italian guitarist, singer, pedagogue and composer

Walter ’s interest in alternative and experimental music led him to form the group N.y.X where he shaped original compositions in the form of a trio of albums: N.y.X in 2004; Down in Shadows-voted best Italian progressive rock record of the year in 2008, and The News in 2016, in collaboration with Adrian Belew (King Crimson, Talking Heads, Zappa, Bowie, Paul Simon…), Trey Gunn (King Crimson , David Sylvian…) and David Jackson (Van der Graaf Generator). His musical training was first developed in the 90s with the Franco-Italian influence of Gainsbourg, Brel, Brassens, De André, Battiato, as well as the anglo classics, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Bowie, Clapton and Hendrix.

After first moving to Paris in 2003 he integrated the group 3X0 playing on two albums Bleu Blanc Rage in 2005 and S'agiter avant usage 2008, and performed on prestigious stages between Paris and Milan. From the 2000s and until today he contributes as a musician, both live and studio, a sound engineer, and as a pedagogue.  Walter lives between Paris, Northern Italy and the south of France and plays a repertoire that offers a large range of experiences from soundscapes to original music as well as international and Italian interpretations.
